VACUU•LAN® local vacuum networks provide the most process isolation of any multi-user vacuum system helping to preserve sample purity in biological research and production. Our networks utilize specially designed fixtures with integrated directional check valves, which significantly reduce the risk of process cross-contamination from other users on the same network. Network installations lab-by-lab provides total isolation from other networks in the same building. For complete inter-laboratory process isolation, VACUUBRAND’s BVC aspirators are available for use in conjunction with VACUU•LAN® networks.
VACUU•LAN® networks are an ideal solution for BSL rated labs that require multiple points of use. A single network can be dedicated to the BSL lab isolating it from other lab spaces eliminating the risk of contamination through the vacuum system. In addition, the vacuum pump can be remotely located outside of the lab saving precious in-lab space while providing convenient pump access for others outside the BSL lab.
